Jr. DevOps Engineer

📢 WE ARE HIRING | DEVOPS / ODOO INFRASTRUCTURE

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented DevOps / Odoo Infrastructure professional to support our Odoo, server, deployment, and website infrastructure.

Job Description

1. Support GitLab CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities.
2. Assist with Odoo and website deployment, hosting, and maintenance.
3. Manage and support Linux servers, Docker, LXC, and virtual environments.
4. Support Nginx, SSL certificates, DNS, and reverse proxy configurations.
5. Monitor server health, backups, disk space, and service uptime.
6. Troubleshoot deployment failures, website/service downtime, and server issues.
7. Assist with routine maintenance, log management, and service restarts.
8. Maintain server, website, and infrastructure documentation/SOPs.
9. Support production incidents and gradually take ownership of assigned environments.

Job Specification

1. Basic knowledge of Linux, SSH, services, logs, and file permissions.
2. Familiarity with Docker and Git/GitLab.
3. Basic understanding of Nginx, DNS, SSL, and web hosting.
4. Basic understanding of website/server deployment and maintenance.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
6. Good communication and teamwork skills.
7. Willingness to work on live production systems under supervision.

Nice to Have

1. Basic PostgreSQL knowledge.
2. Bash or Python scripting skills.
3. Familiarity with Odoo.
4. Basic networking knowledge.
5. Basic knowledge of website technologies/hosting.
6. Interest in cybersecurity fundamentals.
