At SAGAR, we don’t just post safety rules on a wall; we put fire extinguishers in our people’s hands. A single spark can escalate into a devastating fire in seconds but with the right training, that same spark becomes a manageable warning.
Recently, SAGAR organized a hands-on Fire Extinguisher Training program for the team at Sagar Group.
The goal was simple but important: to make everyone aware and ready in case of a fire emergency.

The session was designed to be both informative and practical. In the first half of the session, participants learned the basics through a clear theory briefing.
They discussed the important do’s and don’ts during a fire, how to spot potential hazards around the workplace, and the safety steps everyone should follow to stay protected.
What made the training especially impactful was the practical demonstration. Everyone got the chance to familiarize themselves with fire extinguishers. The trainers showed the correct way to hold it, how to aim properly, and what mistakes to avoid so that the equipment works effectively when it’s really needed. The hands-on practice helped remove fear and built real confidence among the participants.

The Demo helped participants be aware and gain theoretical and practical insights on how to tackle the fire situation but by staying safe themselves first. The atmosphere was lively and interactive. People asked questions, shared their thoughts, and learned from real-life examples.

By the end of the session, many said they felt much more prepared and aware of how to respond calmly and correctly during an emergency.
At SAGAR, we strongly believe that giving people the right knowledge and practical skills can truly save lives.
Training like this not only improves safety standards but also helps create a workplace culture where everyone feels responsible for looking out for one another.
We’re glad to see such positive participation and commitment from the team.
Safety is a shared responsibility, and moments like these bring us one step closer to a more prepared and protected environment.
