What You’ll Do
- Financial Modeling & Strategic Support: Assist in developing and maintaining financial models to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct financial performance analyses, identify trends, and highlight opportunities for improvement to the Finance Director.
- Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads and the Finance Director to develop annual budgets and forecasts; monitor budget performance and analyze variances.
- Cash Flow & Working Capital: Support cash flow monitoring to ensure adequate funds for daily operations and strategic initiatives; assist in optimizing working capital and implementing cash management strategies.
- Risk Management: Assist in assessing financial risks and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Market & Regulatory Awareness: Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes impacting the business; support compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual audit process; verify VAT, TDS, and other statutory data.
- Operational Oversight: Help oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, aging analysis, and payroll.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate to streamline financial processes for better efficiency, leveraging Odoo ERP Version 18 for accounting, operations, and reporting.
- Team Support: Assist in guiding and supporting finance team members; prepare periodic team reports and appraisal data for senior management.
- Work Culture: Contribute to a healthy, competitive, and collaborative working environment.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Finance Director.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably with team coordination responsibilities
- Strong skills in financial modeling, budgeting, and analysis
- Solid knowledge of VAT, TDS, and compliance with Nepalese financial regulations
- Proficiency in financial software and Odoo ERP Version 18
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
Should-Have:
- Experience supporting external audits and managing audit processes
- Familiarity with cash management strategies and working capital improvement
- Awareness of market and regulatory trends in Nepal
Nice-to-Have:
- Process improvement and automation experience within finance
- Exposure to strategic planning and business partnering
