Product Research & Development Manager

What You’ll Do:

• Product & Market Research: Analyze national and international markets for pricing, specifications, and trends. Identify and evaluate vendors (including global platforms like Alibaba) and manage sample orders and import coordination.
• Product Validation & Testing: Oversee technical testing of product samples; document findings and provide training to internal teams, technicians, and dealer technicians.
• Product Documentation & Branding: Lead the creation of product manuals, warranty documents, certifications, labeling, and branding materials.
• Customer & Dealer Engagement: Conduct market visits, organize events, and deliver technical training to increase product awareness and adoption.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, procurement, sales, and marketing teams to translate research into actionable strategies and successful product launches.
• Continuous Improvement: Gather customer feedback, monitor satisfaction data, and ensure best-in-class technical support across Nepal.

What We’re Looking For:

Must-Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Communication), IT (hardware/software), or related field; diploma holders with strong experience considered.
• Fresh graduates are welcome—if you are motivated, interested, and have research capacity.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and research/analysis tools.
• Experience in vendor sourcing, import coordination, and technical product testing (preferred, but not mandatory for freshers).
• Two-wheeler license for field-based market visits.

Should-Have:

• Understanding of product lifecycle and new product development (NPD) processes.
• Experience designing surveys, focus groups, or A/B testing.
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems and market intelligence tools.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with R&D or innovation teams in the tech sector.
• Exposure to global sourcing and cross-border vendor collaboration.
