We are looking for an HR Manager to look after all HR matters across the company from recruitment to performance reviews, wage reviews, disciplinary action, and learning and development. The ideal candidate should have experience as an HR manager, or other senior roles in the HR team, and knowledge around all legal requirements in this role.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Basic HR Responsibilities:
1. Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
2. Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations
3. Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
4. Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date
5. Investigate employee issues, grievances, and conflicts and brings them to resolution
6. Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
7. Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to the team
8. Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently
9. Maintain company organization charts and employee directory
10. Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
11. Maintain HR systems and processes.
12. Conduct performance and salary reviews
13. Provide support and guidance to HR staff.
14. Analyze trends in compensation and benefits
15. Design and implement employee retention strategies
2. Training and Development:
1. Liaising with existing staff to clarify job descriptions and related expectations.
2. Studying and contributing to the operations and climate of our company
3. Drafting instructional manuals, onboarding materials, and other relevant documentation
4. Administering regular, detailed needs assessments to identify skills deficits
5. Orienting new hires to their function within the grand scheme, as well as established company norms
6. Availing as a sounding board for all employees with the explicit aim of improving their orientation and training.
7. Supervising and monitoring progress made via training programmers or schemes
8. Ensuring employees receive statutory required training
9. Review and research market trends, new legislation and practices, conduct assessments and utilize other available information to make recommendations and incorporate findings into training materials
10. Network and partner with client group, other HR professionals and trainers to stay abreast of training trends and issues and incorporate best practices into of training and development
Must Have
- 1. Bachelor's Degree or Higher
- 2. At least 2 years of experience in HR administration
- 3. Organizational and prioritization skills
- 4. Excellent in English Language (Verbal & Written)
- 5. Best knowledge of prevailing labour law
- 6. Time flexibility
Nice to have
- 1. Own Vehicle with valid driving license
- 2. Residence within 5 km from working location
- 3. Knowledge of other languages
