Subject: Appointment Letter

Dear Mr. Indra Bahadur Thapa Magar

With reference to your offer letter, we are pleased to appoint you in the position of Driver at Kalanki Head Office, with effect from 30th June 2021 on the following terms and conditions.

1.       Your salary will be as upon the salary structure which you have approved before accepting our Job Offer.

Your benefit and entitlements will be according to bylaws, salary structure breakdown and governing laws benefits. Benefits may differ position to position and case to case basis.

2.       You will be on probation for period of Six months from the date of this appointment. During this period, your performance will be assessed and based upon your work and conduct; your employment will be upgraded to regular status. While in probation period you will be entitled for public leave only. As and when you are confirmed, you would be eligible for the other leave and holidays provided by the Company’s Bylaws. Details are mentioned in Knowledge Base System module in company ERP.

 

3.       During the probation period if your services are not found satisfactory of or any other valid reason, the management reserves the rights to terminate your services as per Company’s Bylaw. If you wish to discontinue your employment during probation, you can do so by giving 30 days prior notice. The notice period varies from position to position. The company reserves the right to recover salary in lieu of notice period. In the event of willful neglect or breach of any terms hereof or refusal on your part to carry out the lawful instructions of any member if the company or being guilty of misconduct, the company may terminate your employment forthwith without notice, compensation claim could be managed or overview by management as per severity of misconduct.

 

4.       If you intend to leave your job, you are required to handover all the company cash and property in your possession, demo kit, cash and cheques from customers, cash drawn from the company, all records, sim card, contact list of customers and all unused company stationery.

 

5.       The Company reserves the right to re-designate and/or transfer you at any time, temporarily or permanently, to any other department in the Company or to any other establishment/subsidiary company which the Company will have in or outside Kathmandu, without however, affecting the amount of your remuneration. Refusal to accept such transfer will result in immediate termination from the Company.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

6.       You will, at all times observe the Company's Bylaws and carry out the instructions and directions issued by the Company or any other person designated by it from time to time. Breach of any such instructions or orders or contempt of any rule or authority will entitle the Company to terminate your association. You shall particularly observe the conditions including but not limited to the following:

 

    1. You will work honestly, soberly, faithfully and diligently upholding the core values of the Company at all times.
    2. You will be responsible and answerable to Immediate Supervisor, HOD’s and C.E.O.
    3. You will attend your work punctually and will not absent yourself without sufficient cause in compliance with the Company's leave policies.
    4. You will not act in any manner prejudicial to the interests of the Company.
    5. You will show respect and politeness to the Company's customers at all times and under all circumstances.
    6. Your work will be subject to periodical review and the Company may subject you to periodical tests for the purpose to acquire the necessary competence for the job assigned. The Company shall have sole prerogative and authority to evaluate your performance.
    7. You will not disclose to anyone orally or in writing any technical expertise, security arrangements, organizational and administrative matters that you will be exposed to during your association with the Company.

 

7.       This letter of appointment is subject to the Company's Bylaws and the prevailing laws of Nepal as amended from time to time.  If there is a conflict between any of the terms and conditions in this letter and any published rules and regulations of the Company, the terms and conditions of this letter will supersede and prevail.

 

Please confirm in writing your acceptance of the above terms and conditions.  We will look forward to your valuable contributions and a mutually beneficial association.
