Intern Hiring guidance and procedure:
1. The need of intern will be defined by the HOD: The HOD of the concern department will analyze the need of the intern. The HOD will prepare the reason of the need and will make a report ready to be presented to HR.
2. On the basis of need HOD will discuss with HR and prepare a JD: HOD and HR will sit together to further discuss on the JD of intern. They will also determine the immediate supervisor for the intern and how will the immediate supervisor will supervise the intern.
3. HR will either publish the need in various platforms or consult with HOD for the reference: Depending upon the need HR might ask the HOD for the reference. If there is no reference HR will either publish the vacancy or will hunt from the contacts we have.
4. CV screening and interview: After the publication or getting the reference the HR team and HOD will do the screening of CV and interview all the candidates. The interview can be phone or face to face.
5. Determining the stipend: As per the skill set of the candidate HR and HOD will determine the stipend. The range of the stipend will be 300-500/ day. The lunch will be given by the company.
6. Offer for the internship and Orientation about objective, roles and responsibilities: After being elected the candidate will be onboarded to the team where s/he will be clarified of role and responsibilities, office culture and other important aspect.
7. Reporting: Weekly/15 days/one month: The HOD will be responsible for collecting report from the intern. HOD will take care of the intern’s growth and further planning related to the intern.
