Job Description of Operations Lead

A. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Human Resource Management

 Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent across diverse roles

within the group.

 Coordinate and conduct interviews, assess candidates, and facilitate the selection

process in alignment with company needs.

 Manage onboarding and offboarding process for all employees.

 Maintain employee records and make sure all necessary paperwork is completed

accurately and on time.

 Manage compensation and benefits programs across the companies, ensuring

competitiveness and compliance with industry standards.

 Analyze compensation data and market trends to recommend adjustments or

enhancements to existing packages, confirming with the employment laws.

 Oversee the administration of benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

 Formulate, review, and update HR policies and procedures in line with legal

requirements and organizational objectives.

 Communicate policy changes effectively to employees and ensure understanding and

adherence across the group.

 Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to provide support and guidance to team members

and address and manage employee grievances effectively.

 Establish performance management systems to track and evaluate employee

performance against set objectives.

 Prepare reports for management in relation to employee turnover, new hires,

resignations, training & development, etc.

 Provide advice, information and support to line managers and employees on HR

policies and procedures in line with best practice.

 Monitor HR-related company budgets, timelines, and compliance with regulatory

requirements.

2. Admin Management

 Oversee the operations and management of canteen facilities across all company

locations within the Sagar Group.

 Develop and implement operational strategies and initiatives to enhance productivity,

efficiency, and profitability.

 Lead and motivate the operations team, providing guidance, training, and performance

feedback to drive continuous improvement.



 Supervise and coordinate construction projects across various sites within the Sagar

Group.

 Monitor admin-related company budgets, timelines, and compliance with regulatory

requirements.

 Develop efficient document management systems to facilitate easy retrieval and

accessibility.

 Ensure compliance with document retention policies and legal requirements.

 Ensure the provision of basic office services including space management, equipment,

communications, and security to enhance staff safety and productivity.

 Oversee and manage the collaboration with suppliers and vendors to maintain strong

relationships and ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and

resources.

 Efficiently manage all documentation related to admin-related tasks.

 Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of facility management activities.

B. Others:

 Execute the role as a focal point of contact for other departments on HR &

and administrative matters.

 Supporting the line manager with projects and tasks when required.

 Adhere to labor law and procedures and any other relevant provisions of any

Act, Standard, or Law.

C. Communications:

 Maintain the utmost levels of Professional Communication while always

performing the role.

 Maintain proper Line of Communication; internal and inter-

departmental communication as the case may be.

 Maintain standards of mutually respectful interaction with all internal team

members, inter-departmental executives & stakeholders viz. Partners, Banks,

various authorities, etc.

 Respond to inquiries or concerns in a timely & professional manner.

 Provide time-lines, calendars, and schedules.

 Establish proper communication, both electronic and written as needed.

 Provide information to all the key stakeholders as and when required.



D. Internal Relations:
Work closely with executives & and staff members of various departments under SAGAR Group to meet the group’s core objectives.

E. External Relations:

 Network with staff, partners, and all stakeholders

 Establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with key

supporters, beneficiaries, partners, and other organizations of SAGAR Group.

relationships will be extensive and frequent.

F. Miscellaneous:

 Out-of-hours work may be required on some occasions.

 Perform other duties related to the department as instructed by the Line Manager.
