Odoo terminology


Breadcrumbs

“Breadcrumbs” show the recent options at the top of the screen.

In this example we can see: Quotation / Sales Order SO030 / Customer #1 / Quotations and Sales – and the user can click on any of those “breadcrumbs” (hyperlinks) to go back.

This tells us that the user:

  1. Displayed the Quotations menu

  2. Selected Quotation (draft Sales Order) SO030

  3. Clicked on the Customer

  4. Clicked on the ‘smartbutton’ that shows Quotations and Sales for the customer 

So the user can quickly return to a list of Quotations or Sales Order SO030 or Customer #1 by clicking on those “breadcrumbs”.
